6/24 End of Season Party Info

As you all know, we had to reschedule the End of Season Summer Bar-B-Q Party from Wednesday June 19th due to impending storms.

We have moved the End of Season Party to Monday 6/24 from 5-8pm at the BCW Big Pool, presented by Carpenter & Langford!!! RSVP or Update RSVPs here so we have an accurate headcount for food.

We will have a Summer Bar-B-Q Party with volunteers grilling chicken, hot dogs, and hamburgers, Southern Snow snow cone truck, snacks, fruit, drinks and a ton of fun activities (giant water slides, dunk tank, fun family relays, and more!!!)

Wear your swimsuits and get ready to have some fun! We are watching the weather and will post on the website if we need to make changes or postpone the event.

We will also pass out the team medals and individual photos. We are planning on having the family/kids relays right after the opening remarks from our Board & Coaches.

EOY Party Volunteers Needed

Remember, we are a non-profit organization run by a volunteer (non-paid) Board of Directors and our meets & events are entirely run by volunteers like you. And... we still need some help for the EOY Party! Click here to sign up for a volunteer role (we really need more help!)

And even if you cannot volunteer, please help clean up during the event. We want to make sure the pool & park look better than it was before our party!

Family/Parent Relay

We will have a Family/Kids/Parent Relay after the opening remarks before the kids take over the pool. If you’d like to participate, have your team of 4 ready and meet by the pool steps after the announcements.

Lost & Found

Over the past 2 months we have built up quite a bit of lost & found. The end of season party will be your last chance to go through the lost & found box before items are trashed or donated.

We will have a few boxes with Lost & Found by the awards tables. Please please please take a look and find anything your swimmers might have left at the pool.

Future Board Members and/or Volunteer Leads

We always expect to have some healthy turnover on our Board of Directors and we are always looking for new leadership. If your swimmers had a great summer swim season (!!!), if you had fun as well (!!!), please reach out to us at [email protected] and let us know that you are interested in a bigger role. We have to plan for the future to continue to grow our leadership and keep this great tradition of summer swim league fun alive!

Chomp, chomp, chomp!!!
