Practice Information (2026 Season)

Attendance varies by family, and swimmers may attend anywhere from a few days a week to nearly all practices. We ask that swimmers make every effort to attend at least one practice per week when possible.

After-school practices run from April 20 – May 22, 2026.
Morning practices run from May 26 – June 12, 2026.

2027 practice dates will be posted prior to the start of the 2027 season.

Age Group Determination

Age groups are determined by a swimmer's age as of May 1. For practices, we keep kids in the same school grade together where registration numbers allow, so they can swim with their friends — being with friends is a big part of what makes the team fun, and we don't move swimmers up or down based on skill level. Most swimmers' age and grade land in the same group; for those who don't (typically the oldest kids in a grade), they generally practice with their grade. At swim meets, every swimmer competes in their official age group based on their age as of May 1.

Equipment Notes

  • The team suit is required for meets but not for practices (though it's durable enough for practice if swimmers choose to wear it).
  • Tech suits are not allowed at all — not at practices or meets — per league rules.
  • Swim caps are optional, but long hair should be securely tied back or tucked under a cap. If wearing a cap, please avoid other club team logos — any plain cap is fine.
