2026 Practice Schedule
Many kids attend all or most of the practices, some are only able to make it 2-3 days a week. We ask that everyone tries to make at least 1 practice per week.
After-school Schedule runs from April 20 - May 22.
Morning Schedule runs from May 26 - June 12.
Age Group Determination
AHSL determines the age groups by taking your swimmer's age as of May 1st. If your athlete's birthdate puts them in a different age group than most of the friends in their grade, please let us know. We can typically accommodate kids swimming in a different practice group with the majority of the school friends. They will still be required to swim in their actual age group (assigned as of May 1st) at all meets.
Equipment Notes
- Team suit is only required for meet, but durable enough to wear to practice too.
- No tech suits are permitted at any meets per league rules.
- Swim caps are not required, but long hair should be securely pulled back from the face or tucked under a swim cap. If your swimmer wears a cap, please don't wear other team logos (e.g. Nitro, WOW) to Barracudas.
