Individual Photo Day (4:30-7:00pm)

Put on your team suit and stop by anytime today to have your swimmer's photo taken. We have 2 photo days, pick one or the other. If your athlete isn't practiced either of these days, just stop by for a photo in the time window. It's included with the registration fees. https://www.bcwbarracudas.com/photo-sample Photo Helpers: You will be lining up the swimmers and directing them to the spot to have their pic taken (pool stairs). The photographer will have a set of sticker labels with swimmer names and a paper to place those labels on in order the pictures are taken. That way he can assemble all the age groups and make the memory mate photo sheets. |

Rescheduled from the 5/2 weather cancelation. Entries and volunteer roles are reopened for people to make changes until Saturday 5/3 at 5:00 pm. Please review and make any updates to your volunteer positions or your swimmers' events. Meet start: 4:00 pm Intrasquad is an unofficial practice meet for kids and parents to experience a swim meet before we compete with other teams. Gives everyone a chance to learn how a swim meet works (or try to remember what they forgot from last year). Will be similar to a regular meet, but will only have early relays and they will be freestyle relays and the teams will be scrambled. There will be no medley relay. Relay spots will be assigned RANDOMLY. Concessions stand will be open depending on weather and availability. Meet Timeline

Kalahari Team Event (4:00 - 9:00 pm)
Kalahari Waterpark in Round Rock
Join us for our team kick-off event at Kalahari on Friday 4/25! Your $40 ticket includes Waterpark access from 4:00 - 9:00 pm to indoor and outdoor pools, slides and more, along with coupons for an 8” jumbo slice of pizza & large fountain drink for each attendee. This is not a drop-off event, and all attendees must be accompanied by a ticketed adult (guests 2 and under are free). Tickets are non-refundable, though Kalahari can offer a voucher for a future visit (with restrictions) if someone is unable to attend the day of. This is an optional, but very fun event and we hope you can make it! |

4: 30 - 5:30 -- Stop by the BCW Big Pool to have a popsicle and say hi to fellow Barracudas! Coach Ryan will be available for swim assessments if you're unsure your new swimmer is ready to join the team. Board members will be available to answer any questions about how the swim season works, what meets are like, what kinds of volunteer opportunities are available and more. 5:00 - 6:30 -- Swim Freak will have various sizes of our team suit (your uniform for the season!) available for purchase and other gear you might need or want for the season (goggles, gear bag, kick board, etc.) |
