Mon Apr 21 2025	Get Your Gear! Big Pool Start: 4:30 PM End: 6:30 PM 4: 30 - 5:30 -- Stop by the BCW Big Pool to have a popsicle and say hi to fellow Barracudas! Coach Ryan will be available for swim assessments if you're unsure your new swimmer is ready to join the team. Board members will be available to answer any questions about how the swim season works, what meets are like, what kinds of volunteer opportunities are available and more. 5:00 - 6:30 -- Swim Freak will have various sizes of our team suit (your uniform for the season!) available for purchase and other gear you might need or want for the season (goggles, gear bag, kick board, etc.)

Mon Jun 24 2024	Job Signup open RSVP open End of Year Celebration BCW Big Pool Start: 5:00 PM End: 8:00 PM Join us at the Barracuda pool from 5pm to 8pm to celebrate another successful Barracudas season! We will have water slides, dunk tanks, and fun time in the pool together as a team! Some volunteers have offered to grill out for the party, so we’ll have some great food options for dinner as well as snacks and non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy as well! Medals from the Champs Meet, individual memory mate photos, and any unclaimed ribbons will be available for pickup.

Athletes only need to attend their age group session. Meet will be SCORED, with trophies for the top 3 teams and top 3 athletes in each age group. 9:00am Facility opens for setup Session 1: 8&Under Athletes Arrive: 9:30am Warm-up 8&u - 10:00am Ready Bench, timer, and stroke judge meeting - 10:15am Check In Deadline for Early Relays - 10:15am 8&u session start - 10:35am 8&u awards - 1:15pm (estimated) Session 2: 9&Over Warm-up 9&o: 2:00pm Ready bench, timer, and stroke judge volunteer meeting: 2:20pm Check In Deadline for Early Relays - 2:15pm 9&o session start: 2:35pm 9&o awards: 5:50pm (estimate) Wrap Up Team awards Cleanup Details - No qualifying times. The pool is completely covered and “naturally ventilated” (not air conditioned) with garage type doors running along both sides of the pool. There are grass fields outside for tents. Sat Jun 8 2024	Job Signup closed Meet Entry closed BCW at LHS Lake Hills Splasher Pool Start: 8:00 AM Location: 3106 Edgewater Drive, Austin, TX 78733 Parking: From the Splashers: Please be aware that street parking is not permitted on Edgewater Drive. They will have parking attendants in the street to help guide throughout the neighborhood for parking. They will also have some parent volunteers with golf carts to help shuttle up and down the hill. It may be best to drop your swimmer off at the pool and then find a parking spot in the neighborhood. The pool is by the lake. Please let the kids know that they should not go in the lake or on the docks.
